Oh no. One of the crappy powershell scripts I wrote awhile ago just says "An error occurred." when something bad happens.

I'll have to fix that someday.

I was absolutely drenched. My shoes were their own puddles.

It wasn't a total disaster. I met someone who was visiting from Miami and we talked for the duration of the storm until I left.

As soon as I got on the bus it stopped raining...the second bus, that is. I got on a wrong bus first.

What an adventure.

I recently got back from Uptown. I went because there was a food truck there I wanted food from.

As soon as I stepped off the bus, a downpour started. I didn't mind, I wanted food. So I got my food. The rain didn't let up.

It started raining harder. The streets were flooding. The manhole cover next to me looked like it was about to erupt. It started **hailing.**

Dark patterns are awful. I've been duped by so many of these.

i used to be really into having the newest computer gadget. now i use refurbished hardware. it's so much cheaper. it lasts. it reduces landfill waste. it's great, and i don't really feel like i am missing out on much tech-wise.

I also learned that amending a previous commit is useless if it's already pushed to a remote. I 100% prefer patch/email based workflows!
